Patrick Griffin serves as Deputy Director of Communications & Stakeholder Engagement. In this role, Patrick is responsible for staffing the Secretary of Commerce and other executives at key outreach events, drafting communications materials for Commerce leadership, and serves as a spokesperson for Commerce to the media and the public.
Professional Background
Before joining Rhode Island Commerce, Patrick has worked in several local communications and outreach roles, including Outreach Coordinator to then-Rhode Island General Treasurer Seth Magaziner, and most recently as Business Development & Community Outreach Manager at Northern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce.
Education
Patrick graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2018 with degrees in Political Science and History.
