Wexford

Wexford Science & Technology has broken ground on phase 1 of a multimillion dollar commercial development project. Phase 1 includes two ground-up construction projects: a 191,000 sf Innovation Center office building and an adjacent, approximately 170-room Aloft hotel with ground-floor retail, being developed by CV Properties. The Innovation Center is anchored by Brown’s School of Professional Studies, Johnson & Johnson, and the Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC). Within the building, CIC will also operate District Hall, a two-story public meeting space and restaurant that will facilitate gathering and collaboration among local entrepreneurs. Together, the anchor tenants – CIC, Johnson & Johnson, and Brown University – will foster innovation that will act as a catalyst for research and development start-ups across the Innovation and Design District. The Innovation Center is currently under construction and is expected to be completed in 2019.

D’Ambra Warwick Hotel

The Sponsor is under construction on a $23.8 million, 120-room Hyatt Place hotel on Jefferson Boulevard in Warwick, adjacent to T.F. Green Airport and the commuter rail station. The hotel will have a ground-level connection to the InterLink airport garage and skywalk connecting the garage and airport terminal. The hotel is the first phase in a larger planned mixed-use development for the site that will complement the airport expansion and transit-oriented location. The overall development is expected to include over 500,000 sf of office and retail space. The hotel represents an important investment in the future of T.F. Green Airport and is anticipated to have a catalytic impact on the redevelopment of the area surrounding the airport into a transit-oriented, mixed-use area in line with the City of Warwick’s City Centre master plan.
