ISABEL MARSH
Business Engagement Specialist
Isabel works directly with businesses to deliver programs and services to encourage their growth and expansion in the State. She provides one-on-one consultation to startups and existing businesses to assist with planning, financing, operations, and addressing issues with permitting or regulatory processes. She connects businesses with resources available through Rhode Island Commerce, state agencies and our network of external partners.
Professional Background
Most recently, Isabel was the Business Outreach Specialist at the Greater Newport Chamber of Commerce. She worked with business owners to identify needs and resolve issues by referring them to the appropriate resource partner, including Rhode Island Commerce, the Rhode Island Small Business Development Center, city and state agencies, and lenders.
Prior to relocating to Rhode Island, Isabel worked in the financial services industry in the New York City area where she helped build profitable new revenue streams for several companies by developing and executing digital marketing strategies.
She also established her own marketing consulting business in Rhode Island and worked with small businesses to improve how they use the internet to grow their brands and build profitable customer relationships.
Education
Isabel has a BA in Marketing Communications from the University of Ottawa, Canada.
