ANGELA KIM
Chief Fiscal Manager
Angela Kim serves as Chief Fiscal Manager for the Rhode Island Executive Office of Commerce (EOC). In this role, Angie performs financial management and reporting for the executive office, as well as providing direct support to RI Commerce Corporation’s finance department. She is the point of contact for Commerce’s state designated grants and prepares analyses and recommendations on governmental budgeting and program and operation processes.Prior to joining EOC, Angie served five years in the State Budget Office managing a portfolio of complex state agencies and overseeing projects on a department and statewide basis. She focused on commerce and tax policies while working for Governor McKee in his policy office.
Angie grew up in New Hampshire but has been living in Rhode Island for over ten years and enjoys eating local oysters and swimming in the Narragansett Bay in the summer.
She holds M.A. and B.A. degrees in Political Science from the University of Rhode Island.
