TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
About RI Rebounds Technical Assistance Program
The RI Rebounds Technical Assistance Program is designed to support small businesses that have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. This program is funded through Rhode Island’s allocation of the State Fiscal Recovery Fund and managed by Rhode Island Commerce. Program operation and implementation is being led by Skills for Rhode Island’s Future (SkillsRI).
The RI Rebounds Program will first open an application for businesses and organizations to serve as technical assistance vendors. Approved vendors will provide small businesses with technical assistance services to help stabilize, strengthen, and scale their business.
Then, small businesses will apply to receive technical assistance. Approved vendors will be assigned to work with eligible small businesses to support their business needs in at least one of the following areas:
- Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Legal Advice & Services
- Marketing, Communications, Branding & Public Relations
- Customer Data & User Experience Analytics
- Strategic & Business Planning
- Human Resources & Payroll Services
- Information & Computer Technology (IT)
- Website Development Support
- Business Funding Pitch & Grant Writing
- Supply Chain & Procurement
- E-Commerce
Under the RI Rebound Program, small businesses may receive up to $10,000 in technical assistance services. There is no guaranteed minimum for selected vendors. The maximum allowable amount any vendor can receive through contracted work in this program is $200,000, across no more than 20 Statements of Work.
Both the vendor and small business applications are now closed.
