PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Today, Governor Dan McKee and Secretary of Commerce Stefan Pryor announce the hiring of Rebecca "Becky" Nuger as Chief Marketing Officer at the Rhode Island Commerce Corporation.
As Chief Marketing Officer, Nuger will lead the state’s marketing and brand strategy, promoting Rhode Island as a great place to visit, live, and do business. She will oversee the marketing team at the Rhode Island Commerce Corporation and work closely with tourism regions, leadership at Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport, and other partners to elevate the state’s visibility, supporting economic growth.
"We welcome Becky as Rhode Island’s new Chief Marketing Officer at a time of strong momentum for our state. Becky brings experience that will be key to sustaining and expanding our success to keep Rhode Island competitive and a top destination," said Governor McKee.

Nuger brings 15 years of experience in marketing leadership, brand strategy, and partnership development across global consumer brands, most recently serving as Director, Global Brand Strategy at Hasbro.
