MARY JO KAPLAN

Mary Jo Kaplan is a Partner at The Ready, an international consulting firm that leads enterprises to become highly adaptive amidst globalism, rampant technology innovation and market disruption. Clients include Johnson & Johnson, Citi Bank, Hyatt Hotels, Air B&B and Charity Water. Previously, Ms. Kaplan co-founded Loomio, an international social enterprise tech start-up that enables distributed groups to make better/faster decisions. She joined the board of Loomio in 2017.
Ms. Kaplan teaches and guest lectures internationally on the future of work and social innovation at Brown University, Harvard University, Yale University, University of Michigan Ross School, Victoia University and elsewhere. She is an Associate of the Harvard Berkman Klein Center on Internet and Society. Ms. Kaplan founded Kaplan Consulting LLC in 2000. She worked in the environmental sector for over two decades as a senior consultant at the Institute for Conservation Leadership.
Ms. Kaplan also serves on the board of directors for The Social Enterprise Greenhouse. She earned her BA from Brown University and M. Ed from Harvard University; she was a 2013 Fulbright Ian Axford Fellow in Public Policy in New Zealand.
