MARK BRODEUR
Associate Vice President of Tourism Marketing
Mark is responsible for implementing and managing the activities of the corporation’s tourism efforts, PR, publications, trade events, marketing programs and tourism research. Mark also oversees operation of the Rhode Island building at the Eastern States Exposition (Big E) in Springfield, MA, the nation’s fifth largest fair. In addition, as the hospitality and tourism sector lead, Mark is the first point of contact for industry development interests.
Professional Background
A 32-year veteran of the tourism and hospitality industry, Mark has worked as director of operations for Rhode Island Tourism and manager of the Rhode Island Welcome Center. He held leadership roles at Paragon Tours and Travel and Suisse Chalet hotels. He also has worked as a consultant for firms such as Travel Access, AAA, Scholastic Tours and Camera Tours.
Education
Mark is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University in Providence.
