Rebuild Rhode Island Tax Credit Recipients
The Sponsor is proposing an approximately $44 million, 150-unit and 20,000 square foot retail mixed-use project located near the train station in Pawtucket, which is located on Dexter Street and Beatty Street. The project will include a newly constructed mixed-use building at 71 Dexter Street (151,594 gross SF), and the adjacent city owned parking lot (170 spaces). The unit mix will contain studios, one bedroom, and two bedrooms.
The Sponsor has requested up to a maximum of $2,000,000 in Rebuild Rhode Island Tax Credits and $1,000,000 in Sales and Use Tax reimbursement.
The Sponsor is a real estate investment and development firm based in Livingston, NJ. The sponsor specializes in making investments in Qualified Opportunity Zones throughout the country. The leadership team has decades of experience working in the Real Estate Private Equity (REPE) industry with a specific focus in revitalizing underdeveloped communities. As far as we know, this will be the first Opportunity Zone investment of scale in the state.
