SHARON PENTA
Operations Manager
Sharon is responsible for the daily activities and operations of the Commerce Corporation. She oversees the flow of information to both internal staff and external partners and works on projects and initiatives pertaining to the operation and functionality of the agency. She is liaison to the corporation’s Board of Directors and is responsible for the coordination and execution of monthly Board and subcommittee meetings. In addition, Sharon manages the support staff and activities associated with the daily operations of the corporation.
Professional Background
Sharon has been with the Commerce Corporation since 1995. Prior to her role at Commerce, Sharon spent over 10 years in private industry in senior level positions.
Education
Sharon attended Katharine Gibbs Business School, followed by the University of Rhode Island and the University of New Hampshire.
