Mapping and Data Collection Administrator | GIS Specialist
Olivia Read serves as the Mapping and Data Collection Administrator and GIS Specialist for the Rhode Island Commerce Corporation. She is responsible for geospatial analytics and cartographic design, including overseeing and maintaining the state’s broadband maps.Professional Background
Prior to joining the corporation, Olivia was lead ICS Geospatial Analyst for the COVID-19 Response in Rhode Island. Most recently she managed her Geospatial Engineering Consultant Company, where her services included public health, finance, transportation, education, construction, real estate, and environmental fields.
Education
Olivia holds a BS in Education and Geography and a MS in Environmental Geographic Information Science.
