KALEIGH CANFIELD
Renewable Energy Fund Project Coordinator
As Project Coordinator, Kaleigh’s role is to manage and actively maintain all Energy Programs that RI Commerce has to offer. This includes small scale and commercial scale renewable energy, clean energy internships, energy storage, community renewables, and brownfields solar programs. She tracks each project from start to finish and has open communication with all entities involved.
Professional Background
During Kaleigh’s time at college, she joined the Energy Fellowship Program and, through that, received an internship with the Renewable Energy Fund. She was an intern with REF for just over a year and was offered the position as Project Coordinator after she graduated.
Education
Kaleigh graduated from the University of Rhode Island in May 2022 with a B.S degree in Natural Resource and Environmental Economics and a minor in business.
