Dan is the Director of Education Partnerships and manages Rhode Island’s new P-TECH early college education initiative. Dan also serves as Senior Policy Advisor in the Executive Office of Commerce.
Dan previously served as Senior Policy Advisor to the Emergency Manager of the City of Detroit and as a member of the team guiding the city through its bankruptcy and restructuring. Prior to his work in Detroit, he was the principal aide to the president’s advisor on the national security budget at the White House Office of Management and Budget. Dan also served in positions at the Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction and the Criminal and Antitrust Divisions of the U.S. Department of Justice.
Dan is a graduate of Georgetown University and the University of Michigan Law school.
